Job Description:

Key responsibilities:
The DC LAN Operation GOT manager is responsible for end-to-end operations and delivery for all DC LAN activities in the GSS Datacenters in Gothenburg, Sweden. Lead teams within the scope of responsibilities, plan for financial and human resources and interact actively with customers, Stakeholders and Suppliers to secure committed service levels and satisfaction. As manager in operation in GOT site, the DC LAN Operation GOT manager will also be line manager for all operational resources in the Core Tower located in Gothenburg.

DC LAN Operation GOT manager scope includes services in the areas of:
. Data Centre core network infrastructure
. LAN and WLAN core components
. DC conectivity to WLAN and VPN services
. Local Gothenbug MAN network

DC LAN Operation GOT manager functional responsibilities are:
. Be part of Core management team under direct report of DC Services Senior Manager
. Lead the functional team of 20 technicians
. Maintain relationships with customer's operational stakeholders
. Secure service performance according to customers services levels commitment
. Drive products and environments maintenance and lifecycle activities
. Initiate service improvement and corrective plans
. Secure alignment with compliancy for Security and Contract requirements
. Secure alignment to function standards and ways of workings
. Review and follow-up supplier's performance and cost efficiency
. Participate in Business development and pre-sales activities - on demand

As Line Manager for Gothenburg you are responsible for:
. Resource planning and recruitment
. Coach and evaluate performance of employees to help them reach their objectives and grow their career and competence in line with the company needs
. Plan succession for key positions
. Support and encourage development activities for employees
. Salary setting & recognitions according to company policy
. Responsible for security and work environment of employees
. Adhere to local labour laws/regulations/collective agreements as per country specific requirements, supported by Human Resources & host manager

Financial Responsibilities
. Define operations and maintenance budget
. Calculation product costs under your responsibility
. Engage procurement and investments within your area
. Cost variance follow-up Forecasting for the Function and Line

Quality
. Ensures the services follow HCL policies and guidelines.

Required competencies:
. Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science.
. Strong technical knowledge of Network technologies and products:
o Cisco ACI / Nexus 9000 infrastructure
o Fiber / Gigabyte Ethernet physical infra
o FW and security (Juniper / Palo Alto)
. Operations & Delivery Excellence.
. Management and service delivery experience.
. Service and Customers orientations.
